This is the core timetable subject to flexibility.
Montessori believed in giving children long periods of uninterrupted time, during which they could select purposeful activities and develop deep concentration.
This goal is achieved during the work cycle, when children may choose from a variety of activities including the Montessori materials, creative work, baking, gardening, and so forth.
Breakfast will be offered between 8.45am and 10am for those who wish to have it. This will consist of organic porridge with oat milk, seasonal fruit, oat cakes, bread, nut butters as well as hummus, cheese or beans. Between 10am and 12pm, we offer a rolling snack and children serve themselves when they feel hungry.
